Paws Up for Wednesday – Rare Cats

As much research as I do about cats, I’m always surprised to come across something new in the world of cats. Here are two cat breeds I was not aware of until this week. Have you ever heard of the Burmilla and the Agean?

The Agean cat is found naturally around the Agean Sea. They a very old breed, but to this day extremely rare anywhere except Greece and Turkey.

The Burmilla is the result of four-generations of breeding between a Burmese and a chinchilla Persian.
