Wild (and Sometimes Crazy) Wednesday – Having Fun With Words

Most of you are familiar with my Klepto Cat Mystery series. You’ve probably noticed that I use cat-related titles for all my books. “Cat-Eye Witness,” “Sleight of Paw,” “Mansion of Meows,” “By Cat or By Crook,” Merriment, Mayhem, and Meows,” “Cats in Cahoots,” and so forth.

I’m always on the lookout for ways to manipulate words for my titles—you know, make them more feline-friendly. I’ve done that with “The PURRfect Lie, “PAWsitively Sinister,” “A MEOWvelous Witness,” “Cabin FURvor,” “CATalyst for Clues.”

I watch for title possibilities. Today I found one on my Cat-a-Day calendar—MagniFURRcent. Might work. Here are some I have on file that I haven’t managed to (or had the nerve to) use, yet: “A-Paws” (applause), “Felinest” (finest with a feline twist) “CATsanova” (Casanova), “Catliness,” “PAWpular,” “A higher PURRpose,” “SuPURRstitious,” “HISSterical,” “CATastrophe,” “PAWsome.”

It’s kind of aMEWsing to imagine all of the PAWssibilities, isn’t it?
