Seasonal Prompts for Pet Writers

If you write about animals or you just appreciate them, you might be interested in knowing about some of the unique holidays developed to honor them. There’s adopt-a-pet month, of course, and national cat week. But have you ever heard of scoop the poop week, take your pet to work week, mutt’s day, squirrel appreciation day, dress up your pet day, poultry day and if pets had thumbs day? My all time fave is love your pet day, followed closely with hug your cat day.
