They ride horses, go hiking, do a lot of exploring and make some interesting discoveries, take things, find things, lose things\u2014oh yes, they\u2019re busy and active for <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-5849\" src=\"https:\/\/www.matilijapress.com\/catscapades\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/catbeer-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.matilijapress.com\/catscapades\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/catbeer-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.matilijapress.com\/catscapades\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/catbeer-500x281.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.matilijapress.com\/catscapades\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/catbeer-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.matilijapress.com\/catscapades\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/catbeer-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.matilijapress.com\/catscapades\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/catbeer.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>sure. But Rags\u2019s and Olivia\u2019s fictional pursuits pale in contrast to what some real adventuring cats are doing. One thing that fascinated me was the fact that not only are they all so comfortable wearing vests\/harnesses and leashes, some will also tolerate goggles and other apparatus for their safety.<\/p>\n<p>So what do these super-cats do? They hike, rock climb, ride on paddleboards and kayaks, ski, do tree-hopping (whatever that is) and even ride horses.<\/p>\n<p>You might enjoy reading about these cats, but don\u2019t read these stories to your cats or they might start hounding you to let them ride a motorcycle or go skydiving.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Those of you who read my Klepto Cat and Calico Cat mysteries know that I have my cat stars do some pretty wild and crazy things in these stories.
