Some of my books published in 2022 are eligible for entry in the Cat Writer\u2019s Association contest and I\u2019ve entered four of mine this year. My unusual approach to writing fiction is often a detriment to my chances of winning or placing in contests like this. My books don\u2019t always meet the judge\u2019s standards for writing fiction, however, I sure haven\u2019t had any complaints from Rags\u2019s and Olivia\u2019s many fans.<\/p>\n
One criteria for judging books and other writings for this contest is that \u00be of the piece must focus on cats. Since my books are human-driven\u2014the cats don\u2019t speak\u2014this can also knock me down a bit in this competition. As you know, there\u2019s plenty of kitty-cat action, but not as much as there would be if the cats had voice.
