This \u201choliday\u201d comes once a year on June 4, but if you\u2019re like me you celebrate it many times every day. A pet here, a fur-ruffling there\u2026You run your hand over your cat\u2019s silky fur every time you walk past her. You pick her up and snuggle with her, you encourage her to jump in your lap while you\u2019re relaxing and she encourages you to scratch her neck, and you tickle her ![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.matilijapress.com\/catscapades\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/OliviaSnuggle1-225x300.jpg\")
cute tummy whenever she\u2019ll let you and massage those sweet paws.<\/p>\n
You probably also talk to your cat. I do that, too. And, of course, I hug her\u2014again, when she\u2019ll let me. I especially enjoy it when she encourages and invites it.<\/p>\n
