Do you know how many recognized cat breeds there\"\" are? According TICA (The International Cat Association) there are 71, FIFE (Federation Internationale Feline) says 48 and the Cat Fanciers\u2019 Association (CFA) recognizes only 45.<\/p>\n

\"\"We often introduce a new breed here in this blog. There are certainly a wide variety of them. And there are some I\u2019ve never heard of. Sure, people are still experimenting with cat breeds and still the cat associations will add to their lists, but rarely. In 2018, the \"\"CFA added two new breeds, the lykoi, which we have talked about here and the Khao Manee, which I\u2019ve never heard of. How about you?
