If she crawls into my lap and relaxes, I\u2019ll pet and scratch gently. I\u2019ll do the same if she\u2019s rather wound up and I want her to relax. If we\u2019re playing I might ruffle her fur in a different, more energetic-playful way. Olivia is young and robust, so she gets a different kind of petting session that Sophie does. And we do not touch Olivia\u2019s tummy\u2014that tempting fluffy belly is off limits. Sixteen-year-old Sophie, on the other hand, gets gentle full body massages.<\/p>\n
