I love when that happens. I often take pictures of Joy, an older part Siamese cat and Annie, one of two very different looking teenage kittens. And that\u2019s because these cats play outside for part of the day. There are so many interesting backdrops in the out of doors.<\/p>\n<p>Joy has been posing for me for several years. Annie is<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2906\" src=\"https:\/\/www.matilijapress.com\/catscapades\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_2775-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.matilijapress.com\/catscapades\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_2775-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.matilijapress.com\/catscapades\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_2775-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.matilijapress.com\/catscapades\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/IMG_2775-500x333.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/> another really good subject because she will stop and sit and watch\u2014in other words, pose. Her sister, Mollie, a beautiful Maine coon look-alike is not as accommodating. She\u2019d rather rub against <img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-2850\" src=\"https:\/\/www.matilijapress.com\/catscapades\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_3001-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.matilijapress.com\/catscapades\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_3001-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.matilijapress.com\/catscapades\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_3001-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.matilijapress.com\/catscapades\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_3001-500x333.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>my legs and get petted. Well, I\u2019m not going to turn down a chance to pet an adorable kitten.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some of the cats I\u2019ve met as I venture out for a walk with my camera. I\u2019ll snap a picture of a cat posing just about anywhere, but I really appreciate it when they pose against a nice backdrop or where they have chosen to perch or lounge creates an interesting backdrop.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I caught a neighbor cat posing as I walked past with my camera the other day.
