Now to another ongoing controversy: Actually, I don\u2019t see why we have to make it a \"\"contest. Some people prefer living with dogs and some like having cats around. But there are those who enjoy isolating and flaunting the various perceived differences between the cat and the dog and why we should choose one over the other. A whole lot of people have the best of both worlds and welcome dogs AND cats into their homes. They get the best (and sometimes the worst) of both worlds.<\/p>\n

\"\"Here\u2019s the nitty gritty about cats and dogs according to some specialists. Cats live longer than dogs. They\u2019re less expensive to keep, need less space, less attention, and they have better hygiene habits. There are more pet cats in the US than pet dogs and maybe that\u2019s because cats are softer, sweeter, quieter, \"\"cleaner and smarter.<\/p>\n

Who says cats don\u2019t express love or maybe fondness or attachment? The difference between the way a dog and a cat display affection and caring is quite different. A dog will generally sidle up to anyone for petting, whereas a human must earn a cat\u2019s love and when you get it, it\u2019s mighty special, indeed.<\/p>\n

Why do cats seem aloof? Because, unlike dogs, cats were once worshiped as a God and they\u2019ve never forgotten this. I don\u2019t know about your cats, but mine often remind me of their place.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
