Most of you are familiar with my Klepto Cat Mystery series. You\u2019ve probably noticed that I use cat-related titles for all my books. \u201cCat-Eye Witness,\u201d \u201cSleight of Paw,\u201d \u201cMansion of Meows,\u201d \u201cBy Cat or By Crook,\u201d Merriment, Mayhem, and Meows,\u201d \u201cCats in Cahoots,\u201d and so forth.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m always on the lookout for ways to manipulate words for my titles\u2014you know, make them more feline-friendly. I\u2019ve done that with \u201cThe PURRfect Lie, \u201cPAWsitively Sinister,\u201d \u201cA MEOWvelous Witness,\u201d \u201cCabin FURvor,\u201d \u201cCATalyst for Clues.\u201d<\/p>\n
I watch for title possibilities. Today I found one on my Cat-a-Day calendar\u2014MagniFURRcent. Might work. Here are some I have on file that I haven\u2019t managed to (or had the nerve to) use, yet: \u201cA-Paws\u201d (applause), \u201cFelinest\u201d (finest with a feline twist) \u201cCATsanova\u201d (Casanova), \u201cCatliness,\u201d \u201cPAWpular,\u201d \u201cA higher PURRpose,\u201d \u201cSuPURRstitious,\u201d \u201cHISSterical,\u201d \u201cCATastrophe,\u201d \u201cPAWsome.\u201d<\/p>\n
