The number of unwanted kittens in the US and beyond is staggering\u2014absolutely staggering. And the truth still remains&#8211;there are not enough homes for the number of kittens produced each year.<\/p>\n<p>If your cat has not been spayed or neutered, please make that a priority this week. There are free and nearly free clinics everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>If you know of stray cats in the neighborhood, arrange to have them trapped, spayed\/neutered, and released (or better yet, placed in a loving home).
