Patricia Fry's book on writing is quite simply one of the most practical
books on the subject I've ever read. What makes it so unique is that Ms. Fry
packs into 66 pages what many books on the subject fail to shed light on in
several times as many pages! Ms. Fry gives hands-on, approachable advice on a
number of pertinent matters that freelance and wannabe freelance writers take
to heart: finding article ideas, self-promotion, selling rights, and handling
rejection. Clearly the tips she shares with readers have worked for her, as she
has made her living as a freelance writer for years.
